Who Qualifies For The Bursary Or University Student Loan From NSFAS?
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application system.
Applications are actually open and may close on fifteen December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant should satisfy the following requirements:
• Be considered a South African citizen or copyright who comes from a home which has a combined gross house earnings that does not exceed R350 000 for each annum.
• People with disabilities qualify if their combined house income won't exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients automatically qualify for funding and wish not submit any evidence of earnings.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to all South African citizens and permanent citizens from households with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for each annum.
Applicants are reminded to deliver the proper Id Doc numbers, names, and surname, as reflected inside their South African ID.
NSFAS only funds people who are finding out or plan to research at nsfas 2025 a public university or TVET college in South Africa.
